Guided Tours at Rosenhang Karben
The rose garden is freely accessible at all times. Visitors are warmly welcome to explore the diversity of over 500 shrub and wild roses in their natural environment on their own. Not only during the rose months of May and June, but also in the other months, a visit to the rose collection is worthwhile. Signs on the roses provide information about the name, family, breeder, and year of introduction (please pay attention to the green dot on the rose signs within a 1 m radius, which confirms the accuracy of the labeling).
For groups of up to 25 people, individual guided tours are available. During a walk across a 5,000-square-meter area, you will learn a lot about the special characteristics and history of Old Roses.
Registration with an appointment is required for a guided tour (via the contact form).
Tours are currently available on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
Tours are offered in German, English, and Russian.
The duration of the rose tour is approximately 60-75 minutes.
The fee for the tour is €80.00; for school classes and children/youth groups €40.00.
